Jesa_Ryoo Family

Every June, the Ryoo family gathers in Hahoe for "Jesa," a memorial ceremony for one's ancestors. This photograph shows the main gate of Chunghyodang House. Chunghyodang, a UNESCO heritage site, is a historical building built in the 1600s. The house of the famous civil minister Ryoo Seong-ryong was the same one where Elizabeth II had tea.
